陈志谦,男,汉族,1961年5月出生于四川省宜宾。他是一位博士、教授,同时也是材料科学与工程学院的常务副院长。1982年大学毕业后,他开始工作。1988年至1990年,他赴德国自由大学深造。1998年至2001年,他在苏州大学攻读博士学位。目前,他担任材料科学与工程学院院长,并担任硕士导师。

主要贡献
自2000年以来,主持包括国家自然科学基金在内的科研项目共计八项,研究经费59.5万元,在高水平的学术期刊上发表论文12篇,其中11篇被SCI收录。在国家自然科学基金“金属小粒子超导电性研究”中,将核物理中的随机矩阵理论引入解释常规超导体的BCS理论,得到的新方程用以解释金属小粒子的超导电性,并首次同时得到金属小粒子超导电性的增强和减弱效应,这是过去任何理论都不曾有过的。所主持的横向课题“超高强超高韧性7710铝合金研制”,其某些性能参数已达到国际先进水平(见重庆日报2003年3月2日第1版)。
